MTSI has over 120 engineers, scientists, and acquisition professionals making significant contributions to the critical mission of defending our nation and our allies against a global missile threat that is growing and becoming increasingly complex. Since 2000, our MDA engineers have been the go-to team for development of next generation weapon systems and innovative modeling and simulation capabilities. As an example, MTSI engineering (Kevin Robinson and Dan Lally) and test (Kurt Lambert) experts have served as contractor leads for development of the Integrated Master Test Plan program since 2009. This plan defines a complex $1.5B per year test program and is signed annually by the MDA Director, the Director of Operational Test & Evaluation, operational test agencies, and all combatant commanders.
Our team was recently selected by the directors of MDA Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology to play an integral role in developing an advanced kill vehicle for the Ground Based Missile Defense System. MTSI scientists have developed advanced tracking and discrimination algorithms which are being applied today to improve space, airborne, and kill vehicle sensor performance. We are the contractor lead for execution of the diverse enterprise level modeling & simulation portfolio where we have provided significant quality improvements and cost savings in ground test integration and execution at both the BMDS and Element level.
MTSI leaders serving across the Missile Defense Agency are recognized as national experts. They work as strategic partners with our government customers across the country and overseas to solve the biggest missile defense acquisition, development, and test challenges.
