Randy is a senior director for business development with Modern Technology Solutions, Inc., and operates from MTSI’s Dayton office. He leads MTSI’s Defense Services Division business development initiatives, which include the Air Force, Navy and Pentagon opportunity pursuit and capture. Randy joined MTSI after leading successful industry teams at Camber Corporation and Textron Defense Systems. He is a retired USAF colonel, having served in multiple assignments as a senior DoD leader, acquisition program manager, and aerospace engineer.
Randy retired from the USAF in 2007, after 25 years in Air Force weapon system development and sustainment. He has served in a variety of line and staff positions at every level of the USAF, including Pentagon assignments as a program element monitor and as a director on program executive officer staff. He has held leadership roles in the development, fielding, and sustainment of the F-15E Eagle, F-117 Nighthawk, and the F-22 Raptor.
Randy received a bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from the University of Texas, San Antonio, and a master’s degree in strategic studies from the Air War College.
