May 8, 2018
MTSI has won a contract to provide technical and management expertise to support the Air Force with the acquisition of aircraft systems and subsystems that are very early in the acquisition lifecycle. MTSI will lead a team to provide support at Wright Patterson AFB and various remote CONUS locations to help AFLCMC/ADO meet its mission to develop, test, and rapidly field classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. Required services and tasks include conducting studies to identify new capabilities; transition laboratory technologies to operational platforms; execute demonstrations; and develop, test, and rapidly field new capabilities for the warfighter. Other RDT&E work efforts include operational concept exploration; technology studies, assessments and development; operational and system architecture development; and maturation and risk reduction (including experimentation, integration, and prototyping) of identified technology candidates.
