Jim Stone is the MTSI chief security officer. Jim uses his expertise in criminal and counterintelligence investigations, cyber security, computer forensic analysis, industrial security and executive risk management to implement solid corporate security strategies with firm business and financial foundations for MTSI. He is responsible for overseeing the corporate security structure and strategic planning to meet government requirements.
Prior to joining MTSI in 2012, Jim was a special agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) with over 26 years’ experience as a federal law enforcement officer and security professional spanning the defense and intelligence communities. He has served as Special Agent-in-Charge of operational field units inside the U.S. and abroad and as Commandant of the AFOSI’s Counter-Threat Operations Training Academy, the Air Force’s premier center of excellence for expeditionary counterterrorism training.
He is a distinguished speaker and a recognized community expert who has lectured on a wide variety of security and counterintelligence related topics at various U.S Government training academies and industry sponsored events.
Jim holds a bachelor of science in business management and a master of science in strategic intelligence. He is also co-author of a book titled, Interrogation: World War II, Vietnam, and Iraq. Jim is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a CISO executive member of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and hold active professional memberships with (ISC)2 and ASIS International.
