Per Defense.gov, the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), the United States Air Force’s Service Intelligence Center, selected five companies to execute NOVASTAR, a 11-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), small business set-aside contract providing Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) support services to NASIC.

MTSI has supported Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) in Beavercreek, Ohio since 2006. Over the past 16+ years, MTSI has had the privilege of supporting NASIC in the delivery of differentiated all-source intelligence analysis, threat Modeling and Simulation (M&S), and Foreign Materiel Exploitation (FME).

For the NOVASTAR contract, MTSI has partnered with strong industry veterans such as Ball Aerospace, Leidos and their wholly owned subsidiary Dynetics, deciBel Research, as well as exciting Dayton-area small businesses such as Mile Two, Awetomaton, and AIS. The overall MTSI Team brings additional local and national small and large businesses that will collectively provide tailored S&TI support services with a workforce committed and focused on NASIC’s mission.

“MTSI is proud to extend our partnership with NASIC and lead an amazing team on this critical national security mission out of the Dayton market,” said Kevin Robinson, MTSI President and CEO.

“The MTSI team will work collaboratively to provide technical solutions and strategic assessments to our nation’s most challenging problem sets,” said Andrew Norton, MTSI’s NOVASTAR Program Manager. “We look forward to continuing our support to NASIC and contributing to its analytic modernization in our new NOVASTAR Prime role. Our team is excited to work with the incredible professionals at NASIC and Wright-Patterson AFB on this new program and will be a trusted partner for NASIC in its digital transformation. We wish to thank them for their confidence in our company and our team,” said Austin Smith, MTSI’s Senior Director for their National Security Division.
