MTSI Awarded $63 Million Army System of Systems Element Simulation (SSES) Contract

The Army announced that it has awarded a multi-year contract to enhance and maintain its current suite of distributed digital simulation and system of systems development facilities to Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI), an engineering services and technology solutions provider for the defense industry, intelligence community, and commercial markets.
“MTSI is honored to support the Army and leverage its existing capabilities, explore future capabilities, develop complex interfaces, and maintain digital simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), and prototyping facilities,” said Tim King, MTSI Vice President, Army & Missile Defense Division and Huntsville, Alabama office site lead. “We will continue to work with the Army leadership and staff to provide leading-edge technology to face current and emerging challenges. Furthermore, our involvement in the Alabama business community has been a source of pride for MTSI and will continue to be through these projects and the expansion of our local team.”
Per a Department of Defense release, funding and work location will be determined with each task order. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
