MTSI Expands Dayton Footprint with 10,000-Square-Foot Facility Addition

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) announced the completion of a 10,000-square-foot expansion adjacent to its recently established Dayton-area facility, increasing the company’s total footprint in the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) market to more than 30,000 square feet.
The expansion supports MTSI’s continued growth in the Dayton defense and intelligence community and reflects the company’s long-term commitment to its customers and employee-owners in the region.
2025 marked a milestone year for MTSI in the WPAFB market, as the company surpassed 500 employees and continues progressing toward 600. The additional space accommodates workforce growth, enhances collaboration, and strengthens support for mission-critical programs across the Air Force and broader national security enterprises.
The expanded facility features modern collaboration areas designed to foster teamwork, innovation, and cross-functional engagement. Dedicated space for MTSI’s recruiting team enables more effective candidate engagement and hiring efforts as the company continues to attract top-tier technical talent in the competitive Dayton market. The expansion also includes additional conference rooms and meeting spaces to support customer engagements, program reviews, secure discussions, and internal collaboration.
“MTSI has proudly supported the Dayton defense and intelligence community for more than 20 years,” said Austin Smith, Executive Vice President, National Security Division, MTSI. “This expansion reflects both our sustained growth and our commitment to investing in modern, mission-focused work environments that enable our teams to deliver exceptional results. Our employee-owners drive our success, and we remain focused on providing the resources and facilities they need to support our customers’ most critical missions.”
Located adjacent to Wright-Patterson AFB, the expanded facility strengthens MTSI’s ability to collaborate closely with government partners and deliver advanced engineering, mission analysis, and digital transformation capabilities. The space was developed in partnership with Synergy, which completed MTSI’s original facility in 2024.
