MTSI Proudly Supports America’s VetDogs 7th Annual Annapolis/Kent Island Run & Dog Walk
April 25, 2017
MTSI would like to thank everyone for their generous donations and volunteer participation in America’s VetDogs 7th Annual Annapolis/Kent Island Run & Dog Walk this weekend.
Team MTSI, the lead sponsor, raised over $5,750 for this great cause and had 15 participants (four legged family members included) compete in the various race events. This volunteer activity provided an amazing opportunity to get MTSI families together, build teamwork and friendships, and demonstrate MTSI’s 9th core value in action – Social Responsibility!
About America’s VetDogs
America’s VetDogs® has now successfully trained hundreds of guide and service dogs for veterans with blindness, spinal cord injuries, hearing impairments, peripheral and central balance disorders, seizure disorders, limb loss, traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The Foundation breeds, raises and trains its own puppies, instructs and trains veterans on their use, and provides a lifetime of aftercare support FREE of charge for the active team of handler and dog. Through America’s VetDogs programs and services, wounded service members receive dogs that provide safety, mobility, balance, stability and companionship. http://vetdogs.org/
