MTSI-VA’s 1st Annual Volunteer Fair a Huge Success
February 24, 2015
MTSI-Virginia held its first annual ‘Volunteer Fair’ at its corporate headquarters office in Alexandria, VA on February 18th. The event was a huge success and attracted dozens of participants from across MTSI and various building tenants within our facility. On behalf of MTSI Virginia’s Charitable Giving Committee, we would like to extend a very special thank you to America’s VetDogs and Guide Dog Foundation (GDF) for the Blind, Ronald McDonald House, New Hope Housing and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) for braving the snow and extreme cold weather to help raise community awareness for their amazing organizations. We’d also like to thank BECO Management, our property management firm, for providing a fully staffed barista bar with specialty coffees and a wonderful variety of pastries.
As an enduring core value, MTSI places great importance on giving back to its communities. We support both financial contributions and personal voluntary actions from our employee-owners. Special thanks to each of MTSI-Virginia’s Charitable Giving Committee members [Wayne Wright, Committee Chair, Kara Smith, Chris Mead, Mica Soto, Toni Day, Frank Pasquarello, Cathy Bossemeyer, Dane Swanson and Jim Stone] for your thoughtful service and helping making this great event a tremendous success.
