New National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Building Open

The fourth building of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force grand opening was held on was held on June 7, 2016. Privately financed by the Air Force Museum Foundation, the new 224,000 square foot building contains Presidential, Research and Development, Space, and Global Reach galleries, along with three science, technology, engineering and mathematics Learning Nodes.

The ceremony was attended by MTSI Founder and Air Force Museum Foundation, Inc. Chairman, Board of Trustees, Phil Soucy, Congressman Mike Turner, Secretary of the Air Force Deborah Lee James, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, and the Director of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Lt. Gen.(Ret.) Jack Hudson.
