Threat Engineering

- Support the Missile Defense Agency
- Development, analysis, and V&V of IR hardbody models and countermeasure suites
- Imperative that models be threat representative in order for MDA systems to have a high effectiveness against adversarial threats
MTSI, along with our strategic partners SEG and Delta Research, exploit the data collected and created by the U.S. intelligence community (IC) to provide high fidelity, threat representative CAD, IR, RF, and kinematic models .
MTSI and strategic partners deliver models and simulation data for archive in the Threat Engineering Library that includes computer aided design (CAD) files, high fidelity 6 DoF trajectories, radar cross section (RCS), 3D scattering center (3DSC), IR hardbody and plume models and signatures, RF/IR debris models, Threat Specifications, and IV&V reports. Many of these products are customizable for user-specific needs and formats. Proven infrastructure and processes react to Quick Response Team (QRT) tasking and real-world events (RWEs). The processes assure rapid, accurate model development with requisite model fidelity and products fully compliant with the Threat Data Standard (TDS).
